"My role as a nurse practitioner is to collaborate with and guide my patients to achieving and maintaining good health. I believe that good health is a major contributor to a high quality of life."
I earned a master's of science in nursing from Graceland University, Independence, Mo. I received a bachelor's of science in nursing from Bellin College of Nursing, Green Bay, Wis. Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, I also received additional training in colposcopy training and mentorship, Nexplanon certification, and certified trainer SANE certification.
I provide preventative health care; management of hypertension, obesity and depression/anxiety; sports physicals; reproductive health; Nexplanon insertion and removal; IUD insertion and removal; skin biopsy; pap smears and colposcopy for abnormal paps. My areas of interest include preventative health as well as women's health.
I grew up on a family dairy farm south of De Pere, Wis. I relocated to Marinette, Wis., my husband's home town, where we bought a home and started a family. We have a daughter and son. As a family, we spend a lot of time together on the water: everything from boating, swimming and kayaking to fishing. I also enjoy running, biking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, dancing and gardening.
